Poppy was my grandfather and Dinny was my grandmother. He was the person I was closest to. He was an SP bookmaker and a hairdresser, and I mean I learnt some amazing things from that man: like how to pour a perfect beer, and how to - when I was a little girl - look under the curtains to make sure the police weren't driving past when he was taking his bets.
		You know, all the exciting things in life I learnt from him [laughs] you know, that kids stuff. But he certainly gave me a good sense of the zest for life.
