In a part of this sort of move from my married self into my 'self-self' now, my husband, having been an audio-visual technician, was very full-on with technical gadgets. Obviously the TV was always on, this that and the other.

And I decided that one of the things I'd do was get rid of the alarm clock, the electric alarm clock in the bedroom, and so I didn't have any form of alarm other than my own body clock. And I've actually found now it's quite pleasant, especially when school's in, that you hear the chitter-chatter of children walking past.

So I can tell, pretty much to a T, what the time is according to the sounds of people walking past. And I find that quite interesting, mmm, I've actually found that quite pleasant.
