During the war years there was quite a few of the girls, and we used to have lovely times together. There'd be about ten or twelve girls go away on to the weekends, on long weekends, and we might go to Katoomba or to the beaches and to Unavase. Oh we went to all sorts of places. We had the time of our lives. From about 1939 to ... jeepers, when did... I got married in 1952 - we must have had at least ten years of those happy times together, and those girls I still see, and we had a little get together about six months ago.
